Site under construction

I am a beekeeper, and over the years while watching my bees forage I’ve observed the available local nectar and pollen sources. This has led to observations of other pollinators including native bees, butterflies, other insects, and even some birds.

Pollinator forage is disappearing. The loss of forage is threatening native pollinators survival and appears to be one of the major stressors to my honey bees. So the Elmira Pollinator Garden is my attempt to help pollinators in my little corner of the world.

This website is a record of my attempts to provide forage to pollinators.
